Quality & Innovation
Denroy are one of the only four companies worldwide to hold the ADS 21st Century Supply Chains Gold Award. Current areas that Denroy’s R&T department are working on include: Hybrid moulding and Overmoulding: Thermoplastic composites: Thermoplastic welding and joining: Advanced 3D printing.

INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS
We aim to increase the scope of our manufacturing processes by increasing our market share in the polymer processing sector. While working with industrial and academic partners, we aim to increase their capacity to innovate, increase productivity and enhance the skills of the work force, ultimately strengthening their world class offering. We collaborate closely with universities, material suppliers, industrial bodies and partners to remain at the forefront of manufacturing techniques.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Community engagement is one of the key pillars of our corporate social responsibility. As a family owned company we are proud to invest in the local community where our employees live and work. Denroy are very active in the development of STEM based subjects and encourage local schools to come on factory tours to show them all aspects of a manufacturing company. Our community investment programs include: Sponsorship of a local school in the annual ADS Rocket Challenge, Factory tours for local schools and colleges, Sponsorship of a local hockey club and annual hockey tournament, Involvement in the STEM village at the annual Portrush Air Waves Show.
Our History
1971
Max Rainey teams up with Billy Martin
Denroy purchase Ulster Plastics who were going into administration and Denroy Plastics was established. Billy Martin later returned to his existing business, Brett Martin.
1974
Production in Denroy
Denroy, based at Clandeboye Road, Bangor, doubled in production size and the company started exporting with its main export product at this time being the Denman brush, a product that sister company Denman now exports to over 60 countries worldwide.

1980
Denroy's Balloo site
Denroy’s Balloo site, now Denroy Plastics HQ, was opened. The site now manufactures for the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and Defence industries as well as for our sister company, Denman.
1988
Daewoo
Denroy start moulding for Korean Video manufacturer Daewoo.
1990
Denroy Exports
Following rapid growth of Denman exports to Japan and the US, Denman Inc. opens in Boston, USA. Denroy start manufacturing Boots hairdryers which went on to be a very successful product for the company through the 90s

1992
Hyster-Yale
Denroy started supplying Hyster-Yale forklift trucks which has continued to develop as a key customer for the company

1995
During a re-structuring Denroy took over all injection moulding from British Aerospace, seeing the company start supplying major programs such as Airbus A320, Hawk and Tornado.
1998
Denroy Plastics & Denman
Denroy separated into two main businesses, Denroy Plastics and Denman.

1999
Twin-Shot Machines
Denroy installs its first twin-shot machines

2003
Eurofighter Platform
Denroy is selected as the main thermoplastics supplier to the Eurofighter platform, supplying over 180 different components to the fighter jet

2007
Production for Denroy Group
All production in the Denroy Group was moved to Denroy Plastics at Balloo.

2010
Bombardier Partnership
Denroy works with Bombardier Aerospace to develop Electrostatically Dissipative PEEK brackets for the C-Series platform, now the Airbus A220.

2016
Research & Technology
Denroy formalises its commitment to Research and Technology by opening its new R&T department.
2018
Boeing Approved Supplier
Denroy begins the qualification process to become a Boeing approved supplier.

2019
Wing of Tomorrow
Denroy signs a collaborative research agreement with Airbus to work on the Wing of Tomorrow.
