Denroy Plastics attending Air Waves 2019 STEM Village

Denroy will be exhibiting at Air Waves 2019 STEM village in Portrush, on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September 2019. Come along, find out a little more about us and even make your own glider!

Following the success of last years venture to the STEM village at Air Waves 2018, Denroy are returning to this years showcase, alongside an impressive range of employers, universities and colleges.

With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths, the Village aims to encourage families, young and old, to embrace the ever-changing and diverse world of technology.

Exhibitors such as Bombardier, QUB – School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Almac Group, Envision Intelligent Solutions, SAM Aerospace (NI), Creative Composite, W5, Thales and Royal Air Force, to name but a few, will be engaging and interacting with young and old to encourage the growth and progression of STEM based careers and learning.

The event was a huge success last year and Denroy look forward to being part of this year’s festivities, so come along and build a plane with us!

There is a designated Quiet Time each morning from 10:00-11:00 when noise levels will be kept to a minimum allowing our visitors with additional needs or requirements, to browse at leisure with more one on one time available. The STEM marquees are fully wheelchair accessible so we look forward to welcoming you there.
