Denroy recognised as UK Business Heroes 2020 by the Chamber of Commerce.
Denroy Plastics are honoured to have been recognised as UK Business Heroes by the Chamber of Commerce for our work during the pandemic to support the NHS and provide HeroShield visors to frontline workers and beyond.
Through the HeroShield collaborative, we designed and developed tooling to produce the 100% recyclable HeroShield face visor, supplying free of charge to the NHS and at cost to other frontline workers, to aid in the efforts to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
Denroy supported the Hero Shield charity to manufacture the face visor and ultimately took over full production. We proudly went on to supply over 1 million visors to the NHS.

To date we have manufactured and shipped 100,000 face shields free of charge or on a non-profit basis and are continuing to develop our range of protective equipment.
Our Bubl mask is an ergonomically designed, see-through, sterilisable face mask with changeable filters, aimed at the general public. As the mask is clear, it’s ideal for those with impaired hearing, as it allowsc for lip reading and empathetic communication in these strange and difficult times.
Our DenPro brand is growing rapidly and we are proud to have been able to diversify in such challenging times, in order to meet a change in demand through Covid-19, creating employment opportunities in Bangor, during the height of the pandemic.
