Design Manager for Denman, Marcus McCay, further discussed how he wants to develop Denman’s production, “finding more cost-effective ways to manufacture products”, for both customer and manufacturer. Tracey Bassett, Customer Service Team Leader for the Denroy Group, also expressed the company’s plans to create attention and “bring more sales in for the masks” that Denpro produced during the pandemic, providing much needed protection for medical professionals.
The Denroy Group has seen major growth and success in the last year, with its dedicated team at the heart of it. When asked what makes Denroy so successful, Peter Givan stated that it was down to “having a team behind you that can deliver at a very high level in multiple sectors”, allowing Denroy to create a feeling of “trust and confidence with the customer base” as customers know the team can really produce what they want. The Denroy Group is a community driven by offering employees the chance for personal growth, delivering courses and supporting each other, treating each employee as an individual with the potential to further their careers and improve their skills.
Not only does the Denroy Group give team members opportunities for development, but Design Manager Marcus McCay also offers university students the chance to apply and learn the skills he developed at Denman, providing an insight into the industry and encouraging younger people to enter into product design. The last two students Marcus mentored went on to win an innovation competition, a moment of great pride for both Ulster University and Denman, demonstrating how valuable Marcus and the team at Denman’s knowledge is.
