The Denroy team have been reflecting on what was a hugely successful event at DSEI 2023, ExCeL London.

Denroy was proud to be one of ten companies from Northern Ireland exhibiting at the Defence Security Equipment International (DSEI), the world’s largest sea, air and space biennial defence and security exhibition. Northern Ireland has a rich engineering heritage and opportunity to leverage the untapped potential for the defence industry. Defence, security and aerospace are priority sectors for Northern Ireland and are worth over £1.9bn per annum to the economy. There are over 100 companies in the sector, employing in excess of 7,000 people.

Denroy is one of the world’s leading innovators in the design and manufacture of engineered polymer components offering an integrated design, tooling and manufacturing operation providing clients with a single source solution from concept design to full volume production. Deemed to be specialists in lightweighting, metal replacement and EMI shielding / plating, Denroy is the only injection moulding supplier to the Eurofighter Typhoon, with over 150 parts on the platform. DSEI was a busy four-day event where Denroy was able to showcase the wealth of experience and expertise that the business has in supplying parts for the defence sector.

DSEI places defence and security product manufacturers directly in front of military and specialist procurement teams from across the globe.

It’s a gilt-edged opportunity to reach key personnel by using pioneering presentations, power networking events, theatre briefings, VIP programmes, and a complete framework of activity designed to enhance exhibitors’ business development.

DSEI 2023 saw the most significant and largest iteration of the show in its 24-year history. While tackling the theme of ‘Achieving an Integrated Force’, it highlighted the importance of integration across the six operational domains of Air, Cyber, electromagnetic activities (CEMA), Land, Sea and Space.

Featuring over 2,800 defence and security suppliers, including major prime manufacturers plus more than 230 new exhibitors, DSEI was the premier hybrid event of its kind and played a crucial role in bringing governments, the armed forces and the wider industry together.
