Denroy Assembly Value Stream Leader

  1. Tell me a bit about your role at Denroy.

I’ve recently moved to the role of Value Stream Leader for Denroy Assembly. My role is to lead and support the assembly manufacturing value stream on site, in which I am responsible for the teams, equipment, and performance.

  1. What do you like best about working at Denroy?

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed building effective working relationships with various individuals and departments across the business. The trust and support that has been given has been excellent and I know that should I need further guidance or advice, I’ve just to ask.

  1. What skills and expertise do you bring to the team?

Upon joining The Denroy Group, I came with approx. 16 years’ management experience and although in a different industry, there are many comparisons that can be drawn. I had insights into lean manufacturing principles, effective root cause analysis, business continuity planning and total performance management methodologies.

  1. Have you completed any recent qualifications or courses that have helped you with your job?

I’ve completed many of the in-house training classes that Denroy have to offer: Fire Marshall, contractor management, environmental training etc. as well as various external training opportunities from IOSH training to further Lean Leadership training and Internal Auditing courses.

  1. Can you provide any insights into future targets you want to achieve within your role?

I know I’ve much more to learn in my current role, and I’d like to continue learning to enable me to best support the various teams within the value stream to achieve and surpass operational targets.
