  1. Tell me a bit about your role at Denroy.

My role is to communicate with Denroy customers on a daily basis, either for processing orders, keeping them updated on order progress and offer solutions to any issues that might arise. I like to remain professional in all aspects of my role and keep customers updated every step of the way.


2. What do you like best about working at Denroy?

I have built up good relationships with all our customers which works to mutual advantage since I can tailor my approach and gain a greater understanding of their level of communication capabilities. Having now worked at Denroy for 11years, I feel everyday can be different and my knowledge of the products is still improving year on year. I love the communication with customers as the variety is huge with people from near or far. I also love maintaining a good relationship with colleagues from other departments and it is good to see things from their point of view.


3. What skills and expertise do you bring to the team?

My main skills I would say are being a calm, reassuring presence in the workplace and having a logical head for thinking things through to find solutions that best suit the customer. Time management is paramount, and this is reflected every day in my role. I am a good communicator, methodical and sympathetic to customers’ needs and expectations.


4. Have you completed any recent qualifications or courses that have helped you with your job?

I have completed various courses in my career to include IT skills – Excel and PowerPoint. Effective Communication Skills and Dealing with Difficult Situations are also training courses that I have completed. Currently, I am working towards the completion of an ILM course in Leadership and Management, with the final module being due in the next month.


5. Can you provide any insights into future targets you want to achieve within your role?     

My future goals are to continue to gain more knowledge of the plastics industry and get out to visit more customers face to face.
